Experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With over 20 years of post-doctoral industry experience, Dr Michael Agnew has worked on early to advanced, base metal and gold exploration projects in Australia, Solomon Islands and Colombia for Anglo American (contract geologist), Anglogold Ashanti (Senior Project Geologist Southeast Asia), Stavely Minerals (Senior Geoscientist) and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has explored for volcanogenic massive sulphide, sediment-hosted zinc, orogenic gold, epithermal and porphyry deposits, contributed to resource definition of the Myrtle\/Reward sediment-hosted zinc-lead deposit, Northern Territory (43MT @ 4.09% Zn and 0.95% Pb), Sunrise Dam (>15Moz Au) and Golden Delicious (70Koz Au) lode gold deposits, Western Australia, evaluated the Nuevo Chaquiro porphyry deposit, Colombia (604 MT @ 0.65% Cu, 0.32g\/t Au, 4.38g\/t Ag and 116ppm Mo) and recently was part of the discovery team of the Cayley Lode intermediate to high sulphidation epithermal copper deposit, Western Victoria (9.3Mt at 1.2% Cu, 0.2g\/t Au and 7.1g\/t Ag).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Principal Geologist\/Geoscientist, Michael combines advanced technical studies, innovative problem-solving abilities and a passion for discovery to carry out early to advanced exploration programs, project evaluations and project generative work for base and precious metals. He is a Registered Professional Geologist with the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and currently serves on the Society of Economic Geologists\u2019 Foundation Student Grants Committee. Michael is a passionate mineral explorer and mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael is interested in magmatic-hydrothermal process in volcanic arcs and has visited arc-related ore deposits in five continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
